Since July 1, 2023, the Belgian and Luxembourg “National Medicines Verification System” (NMVS) has been connected to the “European Alert Management System” (EAMS) through a “National Alert Management System” (NAMS).Â
A real-time processing of the EU-FMD alerts in the software of pharmacies and wholesalers is now possible, and the Belgian and Luxembourg NCAs (FAGG -AFMPS + DPM) have therefore decided to switch to a full implementation of the EU-FMD before the end of 2023.
