What do we expect?

• You will be the first point of contact for the development and recruitment of our Spanish QbD team: 
  • managing a diverse variety of recruitment missions, from intake until offer  
  • continuously identifying and attracting talented people by using databases, social media and personal network 
  • screening & selecting candidates via calls and face to face interviews
  • follow-up of candidates during the selection procedure
  • identifying requirements and creating job descriptions
  • developing and maintaining long-term relationships with talent to generate and improve the recruitment pipeline 
  • actively working on a network of freelancers in order to establish long-term collaborations 
• You will give advice and sell the most appropriate solution for attracting candidates and maintaining a candidate database 
• You’ll create and provide innovative sourcing strategies and work actively on employer branding, in close collaboration with QbD’s marketing team 
• You will maintain sustainable customer relationships and a network of life science specialists
• As soon as a new colleague starts, you are also responsible for the onboarding and further personal growth path  
• You will work at QbD Spain in Barcelona but will be in close contact with our HQ in Belgium and can rely on the support of a wonderful HR team

Who are we looking for?

• HR professional with a first experience in recruitment or a scientist with experience in the life science industry in for a career move
• Good knowledge of effective talent management 
• Highly preferable, you have been working in a similar organization (consultancy company) or within the life sciences sector 
• You are a great networker
• You have a solid knowledge of HR policies and best practice or eager to acquire this knowledge 
• You are detail-oriented with excellent organizational, prioritization and multitasking skills 
• You are a creative self-starter in a dynamic, fast paced international environment 
• You are a team player with positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills 
• You have excellent oral and written communication skills and are fluent in Spanish and English. Dutch is a plus.
