Salma Michor assumes role as Regulatory Affairs Division Head at the QbD Group

We are happy to announce that Salma Michor is our new Head of Regulatory Affairs (RA), stepping into the role previously held by Maurizio Suppo. But of course not without saying a big thank you to Maurizio first for his hard work and dedication for many years. Maurizio started working part-time since last October and will continue to provide his expertise in this capacity for the years. His insights and leadership remain crucial to our continued success.

Salma is currently making a significant impact as the Country Manager of QbD Austria, and we are excited to have her expertise and leadership at the QbD Group.

Salma brings a wealth of experience and an impressive track record in the field. As the founder of ex-Michor Consulting, she has successfully served high-profile clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Pfizer, and CSL Behring.

Beyond her extensive professional accomplishments, Salma is also an esteemed educator, teaching regulatory affairs and clinical strategies at the University of Krems, Austria. Her role as an independent expert to the European Commission and her membership on the RAPS European Board further underscore her influence and expertise in the field.

Salma’s academic background is equally impressive, holding a PhD in Bioengineering and an MSc in Food and Biotechnology from the University of Applied Life Sciences, Vienna. She also possesses an MSc in Food Technology from King’s College, University of London, an MBA from the Open University, and has earned the RAC (EU and Global). Her status as a Chartered Manager and a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute are testaments to her leadership and management skills.

We are at a pivotal moment in the life sciences industry, and I am eager to leverage my experience to further strengthen our RA division and our company's position in the market

We are confident that Salma’s diverse expertise and leadership will be invaluable assets to our RA team, consisting of diverse colleagues from Austria, Belgium, Spain, and the UK, specializing in different areas such as Medical Devices, In Vitro Diagnostics, and Pharma.

We look forward to the exciting journey ahead with Salma leading our Regulatory Affairs division.
