We are proud to announce that Dr. Diane Fairweather joined QbD Group as our new Division Head Clinical.
With over 25 years of experience in CRO, pharma, and biotech environments, Diane brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, project leadership, and a deep passion for team development. Her appointment reflects our continued commitment to expanding QbD Group’s global Clinical footprint and supporting life sciences companies at every stage — from idea to patient.

A proven track record in global clinical leadership
Diane’s career began in academic research in the UK, where she explored the effects of psychoactive drugs on cognition, psychomotor performance, and sleep — research that culminated in a PhD. She then joined Novartis in Basel, Switzerland, where she led global psychiatry clinical development programs.
Returning to the UK, Diane spent over 20 years at PPD, taking on increasing levels of responsibility across global project management roles. She worked across a wide range of therapeutic areas, including Hematology, Oncology, Cardiovascular, Rare Disease, and Cell and Gene Therapy. In her Vice President roles at PPD, Diane played a key part in growing the business and consistently delivering high-quality services for clients ranging from small biotech companies to major pharmaceutical organizations. Throughout her career, Diane has led cross-functional teams, built strategic partnerships, and driven operational excellence — all while keeping patient outcomes at the heart of every decision.

At QbD Group, Diane will take on the exciting challenge of further strengthening and scaling our Clinical division globally. Her ability to combine strategic insight with hands-on clinical know-how makes her an ideal leader to guide the team through continued growth and innovation.
