# Rescop's e-VLM validation software rebrands as VLMcare
> Rescop, a QbD Group company, today announces the rebrand of its established e-VLM software to VLMcare — a data-driven, AI-enhanced platform for validation lifecycle management in GxP-regulated life sciences environments.

**Antwerp, Belgium / Baarle-Nassau, the Netherlands**. _[Rescop](https://rescop.com/), a specialist in GxP compliance, computer system validation, and validation software, today announces the rebrand of its e-VLM software product to [VLMcare](https://vlmcare.com/). The new name marks a significant step in the evolution of the platform following Rescop''s integration into QbD Group in May 2026, and positions VLMcare as a stand-alone, data-driven validation platform for the broader life sciences market._

> "VLMcare is the natural next step for a product that has been delivering real value to regulated organisations for years. The rebrand gives the platform its own identity, one that reflects what it truly does: structured, connected, audit-ready validation lifecycle management. In close collaboration with QbD Group, we chose to bring it forward under a distinct name, making it more visible to the outside world and enabling it to serve a broader audience across pharma, biotech, and medical devices," said Bjorn Aalbers, Managing Partner Strategic Accounts.

## From e-VLM to VLMcare: what changes, and what stays the same

Rescop''s e-VLM platform has supported GxP-regulated organisations in managing validation lifecycle documentation, approval workflows, and audit trails for years. Built around the FDA''s Computer Software Assurance (CSA) principles, it was already a proven, market-ready product when Rescop joined QbD Group.

Under the VLMcare name, the platform continues to deliver the same capabilities its existing customers rely on: connected requirements, test cases, approvals, and traceability in a single data-driven environment. The platform covers every validation activity type: facilities, utilities, equipment, computerised systems, IT infrastructure, process validation, and cleaning validation. Deployed via a secure, validated cloud solution, it is available rapidly without a lengthy infrastructure project. For existing clients, nothing changes except the name and visual identity. Services, contacts, and account management remain exactly as before.

What the rebrand unlocks is visibility. As VLMcare, the platform can stand independently alongside other QbD Group software solutions, reach new prospects across the life sciences, and develop its roadmap with the full backing of QbD Group''s 700+ expert network.

## A data-driven approach to validation

VLMcare is built on the principle that validation should live as connected data, not folders of files. Requirements, test cases, approvals, and evidence are structured, linked, and governed throughout the full validation lifecycle.

The platform gives quality and validation teams live traceability, immutable audit trails, 21 CFR Part 11-compliant electronic signatures, and AI-assisted authoring and evidence assembly. Inspection preparation is no longer a reactive exercise. VLMcare keeps organisations audit-ready by design.

Customers including Corden Pharma and Sanquin have already reported measurable efficiency gains versus traditional paper-on-glass approaches.

> "Substantial efficiency gains versus traditional paper-on-glass validation. We recommend VLMcare to life science companies looking for a truly data-driven validation solution," said William Cashin, Chief Quality Compliance Officer, Corden Pharma.
