# QbD Group celebrates 10 years in Spain with a look at the future of Life Sciences
> This October, QbD Group celebrates ten years of activity in Spain. To mark the occasion, we sat down with Eduardo Sanz (Farmaforum) to look back at a decade of Spanish Life Sciences and ahead to 2036.

This October, we are celebrating a very special milestone: ten years since QbD Group started its activity in Spain. A decade later, we have two offices – one in Barcelona and one in Madrid – and a team of more than 100 professionals in the country.

## A decade of challenges, growth and excitement

These have been years of big challenges, strong growth and a great deal of excitement. Over this time, we have supported pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies in Spain across the lifecycle of their products.

Today, our offices in Sant Just Desvern (Barcelona) and Madrid bring together more than 100 people who share the same commitment to quality and compliance in Life Sciences.

## Thank you to everyone who made it possible

None of this would have been possible without the people behind it. We want to thank every colleague who has been part of QbD Group in Spain over these ten years for their talent, dedication and energy.

We also want to thank our clients, who continue to place their trust in us project after project. Your confidence is what drives us to keep growing and improving.

## Spanish Life Sciences: from 2016 to 2036

To celebrate this anniversary, we wanted to look beyond our own story and reflect on how the sector we work in has evolved. Almudena del Castillo, Country Manager Spain at QbD Group, interviewed Eduardo Sanz, CEO of Farmaforum and a well-known voice in the Spanish Life Sciences sector, with more than 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Together, they review what has happened in the Spanish pharmaceutical, biotech and medical devices landscape over the last ten years, and what the next ten may hold: the rise of biotech and ATMPs, the competitiveness of generics, innovation, the convergence of cosmetics and food supplements with pharma standards, upcoming regulatory changes, MDR/IVDR and Spain’s role in European manufacturing.

## The past, present and future of the Life Science sector in Spain: what will 2036 hold for us?
