Audits
Duration
Full day
Why this topic?
Within any regulated quality system, the audit process is a requirement for the recognition of the quality system. In addition, internal audits and supplier audits are one of the tools that are the driving force behind continuous improvement within a business environment. And customer audits and system audits are the appropriate tools for verifying compliance or agreement between the practical reality on the one hand and the procedures and regulations on the other. The aim of this training is to acquire an understanding of the various audit processes and provide tips so that you are in a position to both successfully carry out and undergo an audit.
What can you expect during the training?
During this training, the morning session will see us first address the place of an audit within the QA process and the regulations relating to audits, in other words the why. Then we will focus on the different audit types (system audit, customer audit, supplier audit and internal audit). We will discuss the audit process from the perspective of the different phases of an audit and the various possible roles during an audit. We will also look at the behaviour and attitude of the auditor and audited party during the audit process. In addition, we will briefly examine what is meant by something that has to be ‘audit-proof’.
In the afternoon, we will focus on the practical side of audits, starting from several useful tools such as the discussion of Radar Chart, discussion of the use of audit checklists and discussion of several audit reports. We will also look at how we can ask specific questions and will prepare a fictitious audit from a practical angle.
For whom?
In particular, new QA operatives wanting to broaden their base.
