    Bart Van Acker is the founder and CEO of QbD Group, which he established in 2011 and has grown into one of Europe's leading life sciences consultancies, with over 600 experts operating across Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, the UK, and Colombia. A bio-engineer specialising in genetic biotechnology from KU Leuven, Bart has spent his career building practical solutions for quality and compliance challenges across pharma, biotech, and medical devices. His entrepreneurial track record in the sector was recognised in 2019 when he was named Flemish Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Beyond QbD Group, he is active as a board member and co-founder across several life sciences ventures including FlandersBio, Scilife, and H2M.

    Björn Aalbers is Managing Partner Strategic Accounts & Country Manager at QbD Group Netherlands. He was the founder and CEO of Rescop, which he built over more than 20 years into a specialist in GxP compliance software and inspection readiness services. Holding a Master's degree in Computer Science from Eindhoven University of Technology. Björn brings a rare combination of deep technical knowledge and hands-on regulatory experience. His career spans international pharmaceutical consulting, IT auditing in GMP and GLP environments, and the development of data-driven software for validation and compliance. He has worked with organisations including Merck, MSD, Organon, Johnson & Johnson, and Genzyme, among others.

With 35+ years of experience, they specialise in Annex 1 compliance and advanced techniques such as Radio Ligand Therapy. Their approach ensures GMP and regulatory adherence while optimising efficiency — delivering tailored solutions for operational excellence.

    Ronald Slob is the most senior Qualification & Validation consultant at QbD Group Netherlands. Active in pharmaceutical manufacturing since 1990, he has built his career across a wide range of CQV and quality roles both as a consultant and in-house. With over three decades of hands-on experience, he brings deep technical knowledge of qualification and validation combined with a pragmatic quality mindset. Ronald is known for bridging disciplines, translating complex regulatory requirements into workable solutions.
