QbD’s foot in the door

Table of Contents

Earlier this month, a team from QbD visited the Nordic Life Science Days in Stockholm, Sweden. The event would have been incomplete without QbD. Why? Because we offer a state of the art, cost-effective workflow solution to help mitigate quality risks for organizations in the life science industry. Visiting Stockholm was a small step for QbD, it could be a giant leap for the life science industry.

The NLSDays are the largest Life Science invest and partnering meeting in the Nordic region. Together, the Nordic countries (Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway) are the 12th strongest economy in the world, hosting some of the world’s most innovative biotech, medtech and pharma companies. QbD was visibly present at the conference sessions, panel discussions, company presentations, exhibition, face-to-face meetings and receptions. Great opportunities to network with peers, potential partners and investors. After talks with Flanders Invest & Trade (FIT), FlandersBio, Karolinska Development and University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG), it was clear that QbD has a great value added solution and perfectly matching services for the life science industry in Europe and worldwide.

Setting foot on Nordic territory, we connected with people who immediately recognized the added value of QbD and who are willing to introduce us to interested parties in Scandinavia, especially Denmark. This country’s Medicon Valley is a renowned life science cluster in the east of Denmark and south of Sweden. It is one of Europe’s strongest life science clusters with a large number of life science companies and research institutions located within a very small geographical area. Moreover, the Nordics have a very strong social welfare system in place and always have had a positive approach towards technological developments. Knowing that, I’m convinced that in the field of technological innovation in the healthcare industry, Scandinavia will take the lead. As we already experienced during the various presentations and meetings at the NLSDAys.

As you can see, QbD is working hard to follow up on its strategy to enlarge its footprint across borders. We have a foot in the door in the Nordics and some doors are wide open. Giving us the opportunity to take that giant leap.
